01

Closing a telemetry data gap

Traced a device undercount to a six-month-old external snapshot. Co-designed and built an in-house replacement pipeline that captured 111,041 devices, compared with 96,785 in the external source.

02

A more adaptable routing platform

Increased maintainability of RWC, a Django/OpenLayers internal routing platform used by 100+ employees organization-wide. Redesigned hardcoded pseudo-route marker-selection logic into a generalized, attribute-driven system extensible to new stop attributes, and consolidated piecemeal inline tooltip logic into reusable builder methods across views.

03

Validation at station scale

Ran dispatch validation across 700+ stations. Isolated a device-prefix pattern behind a vendor outage affecting 59 stations and confirmed its resolution with an automated re-run.

Tools the team can reuse

Built a Python tool to summarize telemetry quality across five GPS vendors. Replaced hardcoded paths in shared configuration with argparse runtime parameters; the portability refactor was merged to main.

C / SYSTEMS

Mini Database
Engine

In progress

A simple database engine built from scratch in C to develop a deeper understanding of low-level systems.

Individual components and results are not yet documented.

Adaptive AI
Coding Agent

In progress

A repository-aware coding agent with an iterative LLM tool-calling loop for inspecting files, editing code, running shell commands, and validating changes with tests.

The evaluation layer is designed to benchmark and route models using correctness, token usage, latency, tool calls, and cost.

Fly Plays
Pokémon

Research

A Pokémon Showdown research project built around a FlyWire-derived fruit-fly connectome. The model will encode battle states, propagate sparse neural activity through a biologically constrained network, and decode legal moves and switches.

The initial milestone is behavior cloning recorded Gen 1 OU decisions, comparing the connectome-constrained policy with control topologies, and visualizing battle and neural telemetry in a web interface.
